TechSoup is the main marketplace where U.S. nonprofits get donated or deeply discounted software, hardware, and IT services from companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Intuit, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Membership is free. You pay a small "admin fee" per product instead of retail price.
Who qualifies
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Public libraries (501(c)(3) status, or listed in the IMLS database)
- Any annual operating budget size is OK
- You must agree to TechSoup's Anti-Discrimination Policy
- Organizations in U.S. territories are not eligible
- Some donor partners exclude specific org types (political/legislative, certain religious groups without a secular community mission, some health and education orgs). Each product page lists its own rules. [Source: techsoup.org/restrictions (accessed 2026-05-17)]
