First things first, your friends will need to use your unique referral link to sign up for Acorns for the first time. Once they do, they’ll be asked to securely link their bank to Acorns (they can learn more about Acorns’ security here). Then, they’ll answer a few questions to set up their Acorns Invest account — an investment portfolio selected for your friend based on their investment profile. Lastly, they’ll need to make their first investment of at least $5, or set a Recurring Investment. After we verify your friend has taken all these steps, you’ll both receive your bonuses in your Invest account within 30 days! More details are available in the referral program terms.
