The applicant must:
Meet the annual gross income limits for their household size and county in PG&E’s service territory where they live, or the applicant is enrolled in a qualified public assistance program. The county must be the same as where the applicant lived when installing the eligible equipment and the EV was purchased or leased. Check the Household Income Limit Table.
Note: Other information on the “Household Income Limit Table” page does not apply to the Residential Charging Solutions rebate.
Agree to program terms and conditions (PDF).
Have an active PG&E residential Electric Service Agreement. The application will ask for: If we cannot confirm that the service agreement ID entered on the application is correct and active, a recent PG&E bill will be requested.
Submit the required documentation with application:
Proof of enrollment in a Public Assistance Program OR completed ISR Form 4506-C and PG&E’s Household Income Summary Form
Proof-of-purchase receipt for the eligible equipment showing date of purchase was on or after November 17, 2023
Photos of the eligible equipment installed and its serial number, and where applicable the electrician’s invoice
Copy of vehicle registration
Note: The vehicle does not need to be registered to the PG&E account holder. However, it must be registered to the rebate applicant and at the address corresponding to the applicant’s PG&E electric service agreement. PG&E gas-only residential customers who receive electric service from a municipality are ineligible for the rebate.
